Paleo Doughboys

This is a very special post for me because growing up my Grammy would come visit almost every weekend and would make all of us kids the most amazing fried doughboys. A truly Italian family treat! We would top them with lots of butter and sugar and devour half a dozen each.

I’ve been on a mission for years to try to replicate this special recipe in a paleo fashion and I finally did it thanks to inspiration from my best friend (Kat!). Try these now - you won’t regret it. Be sure to keep any extra in the fridge and reheat in a toaster oven. I’ve even had loved ones use a doughboy to make a quick ‘pizza’ in the toaster oven topping with a spoonful of marinara and cheese.
